SIMPLE BELT DRIVE
The main-frame incorporates a belt driven gearbox, the heavy-duty, banded-V-belt drive helps to reduce shock to the gearbox and is easily maintained. All units feature a 6-spline 540 RPM PTO shaft with an overrunning clutch. The overrunning clutch prevents damage to the cutterbar, PTO shaft, and tractor PTO clutch by allowing the cutterbar to coast to a stop when the PTO is turned off. (Shield removed for picture.)
