SPRING FLOATATION

While all models have a standard inner floatation spring that takes pressure off the inner skid shoe, the models 3308, 3309, and 3310 feature an outer floatation spring as well. This design increases wear life on the outer skid shoe.

The disc mowers also have a breakaway point that uses an adjustable spring tension system. In the event an immovable object is encountered the system allows the cutterbar to give, allowing the operator sufficient time to stop before serious damage occurs.
