AUTOMATIC TRANSPORT LATCH
Each mower is equipped with a hydraulic cylinder to raise and lower the cutterbed. A spring activated latch is now on the mower so the operator can unlock the mower from road position without leaving the tractor cab. When the mower is raised, a spring hooks the latch to lock the cutterbar for safe transport. The operator then simply pulls the supplied rope to unlock the cutterbar to lower the mower and begin cutting, saving time and increasing the use of the safety latch.
