TRANSMISSION
The standard CVT (continuously variable transmission) puts maximum power and infinite speed selection (0-25 mph, 32 mph maximum transport speed available when equipped with optional front axle suspension) at your fingertips - a powerful business solution that is easy to operate and even easier to service. Simply select the ideal speed for the job and go to work – the stepless variable-speed design ensures maximum productivity and efficiency. Simple controls make it easy for anyone to operate. An ergonomically designed right-hand Control Center armrest offers easy access to all transmission and engine controls, while the three function left-hand PowerShuttle control lever is not only used for directional changes but can also be used as a secondary transmission speed control and can be used to disengage the transmission. |

Other impressive features include:
-
Adjustable forward/reverse starting speed for both high and low range.
- Two pre-set working speeds for each range, making row-crop and loader work nearly effortless.
- Foot pedal mode, which allows the tractor to be operated similar to an automatic automobile transmission.
- Turbo-clutch feature stops the tractor and disengages the transmission at lower engine RPM using only the brake pedals.
- The new Dynamic Tractor Management (DTM) feature controls both engine and transmission speeds for maximum fuel efficiency. When the CVT control lever is moved to attain the desired ground speed, the engine speed is automatically regulated between 800 and 2,260 rpm.
- Economy pedal mode allows the tractor to reach maximum speed at a reduced engine speed minimizing fuel consumption during transport.
- Modular transmission – tractor doesn’t have to be split to perform maintenance.
- Less moving parts than any other transmission today making it less-prone to break downs. Clutches are not used for any speed range or directional changes, unlike competitive transmissions.
- Separated oil reservoirs for the transmission and hydraulic system minimize the risk of contaminating the transmission oil and reduce additional heat stress on the transmission.
